OVC, S-1 periods of S1. Felt like light winds and warm air temps at our elevations.

Snowpack

Lots of wumpfs and shooting cracks all day. Got one crack to go about 100ft out from our tips.

Avalanche

Near tree line, ESE facing ridge line, wind loaded, rocky. Hard to judge dimensions in the flat light. Crown about 100ft wide 2ft deep. Short track, soft debris, crown connected a small rock feature. Unsure if we triggered remotely from about 200ft away on a bench or if it failed naturally. I'm guessing R1D1.
