Weather
Berthoud Pass, Current Creek, SE aspect @ 11,300ft. Overcast skies, S-1 precip, and light winds out the SE. Not as much wind as expected. Single digit temps all day. HN24 = 15-20cm
Snowpack
SE aspects have a well defined crust buried 15cm down. SE aspects also have shallower snowpack depths as compared to the more Easterly facing Middle 110's. The max snpx depth I was able to measure was on a east aspect at 11,300 where it was barely a meter deep. The strong over weak structure is there, we had 1 large collapse while skinning back up the middle 110's and a sizeable shooting crack. The skiing was good on the East aspects with no wind effected snow.
