Snowpack
Still shallow and soft all the way to the ground. A few density changes. North aspect below tree line.
Avalanche
Small R3D1 above the skin track. It broke in the new snow old snow interface. There was a track when we came up to this slope, so I assumed the last crew triggered it. Not a hazardous avalanche, but it was a sign to us to avoid avalanche terrain for the day. Around the corner in the photo it ran all the way down to a creek.
