Windy, strong gusts (likely 50+), light snow and blowing snow
Snowpack
NE aspect, slope angle 25-30 degrees, 11000 feet approx. 125cm total depth. Pit was assumed to represent snowpack without significant wind loading or scouring. 15cm recent 1F snow. 60cm dense 4F/4K snow below, followed by variable (F-4F) faceted snow to soil. 2 shovel compression tests were not reactive (CT >30).
