Weather
20 degree start to the day, warming though sun generally filtered through high clouds. No new snow since Mar 17 storm
Snowpack
Largely E aspects; some sun crusts in exposed areas, colder snow in the shade. Wumphing collapse in an old slide path (silent bob) at 10,500' or so. Slope wasn't steep enough to move though. Also found shallow facets on SSE aspects that convinced us to bail off our plan of skiing SE face of Peak 1; skied the ridge instead in chalky snow transitioning to fast, beginning-to-soften crusts lower down.
Avalanche
Some old crown lines on Peak 1 and Tenmile, and some evidence of small wet loose slides 3/19 on S to E faces.
