*Call Barry Wesley 403-846-8781for permission to cross the First Nation land. *If you lost a glove contact Grant. The ice is in good condition, climbs well, and protects well. The sun is starting to have a little effect on those aspects with slightly more sun exposure but there's still far more blue ice than white.

We arrived in sun however there was snow on the road indicating a small amount of recent snow that morning. Cloud cover varied but we had sun at least half of the time we were climbing. As we were rapping we had a short lived squall blow through with very light snow. Mostly winds were light down low except for the squall. Higher up there were occasional signs of more wind. I didn't get any thermometer readings but it was warming between 10am and 1pm as we approached and rapped. Around us it seemed there were more clouds and stormy looking weather. We drove via Nordegg because the Parkway was supposed to get snow. As we drove away there were low clouds around.
Snowpack
Most of the approach was snow free with isolated pockets remaining. Higher up there was more snow and new looking snow.
