Forecasters are probably aware of this. However on our way up Cerise Creek, we were able to observe a heli dropping explosives on the S aspect of Rohr in start zones. We observed 3 bombs in start zones around 2000m. Of the three bombs dropped, one produced a ~size 2 avalanche (hard to tell from across the valley). The other two had no reactivity. It looked to be in the recent storm snow (wind slab) and not the PWL (but again, obs were from the other side of the valley).
