Spent the weekend with some friends at watersprite lake hut. Mixed snow conditions due to wind loading in some areas. Great snow when not wind affected. Small 0.5 slab released on north east aspect (see picture #1). Sign of avalanches earlier in the week on sun affected slopes. We heard one avalanche from (maybe?) Watersprite tower on the south aspect due to sun exposure. ECT15 no propagation on west aspect of new snow sitting on top of a first layer of crust then another crust at 45cm. Overall great weekend out!
