Column test showed suspected surface hoar at 40cm depth reacted at 24. Ski cut some convex slopes and had no reaction but some dry sloughing while riding from new snowfall. Stuck to the trees and had some excellent skiing. Lower elevation snow got a bit heavier in afternoon as temperatures rose closer to 0.
