Weather

Strong winds blowing NE across the ridge to the main summit. As a rough measure of load: there were 3 guys about 30 minutes ahead of us and the drifts had covered their skin tracks. Last photo shows typical Wx for the afternoon.

Avalanche

We saw two fresh sz 1 loose-dry. Triggered at the cliffs on the SW aspect of Obs Subpeak Bowl (the gully SE of the peak). The same aspect had the smooth "pillowy" look of wind deposits and the gully bottom had a large wind lip pointing SW. My rookie guess is we're getting windloading of this feature by winds from the NE
