Snowpack

About 5" of new snow sits on top of the wind crust from Thursday (Jan 14). Weak layer beneath the wind crust failed in snow pit tests. New snow is soft and deep enough to cover up last week's concrete. 10,100 feet, NE aspect, BTL: CT 12 at 20 cm (same results from two tests) Lots of fracturing within the new snow (CT 4, 6) ECT N13 at 25 cm
