Was pleasantly surprised by the snow quality, noticed a definite slab about 10 cm down but was non reactive where we skied in some low angle trees. The wind was significant and seemed to switch direction mid day (blowing towards the cornices). Was soft supportive snow.

Started off clear and chilly and by 2pm it’s was getting really windy with a lot of snow transport.

No recent avalanches noticed where we travelled at bow, but noticed many loose dry avalanches on the north facing mountains along the hwy 93 while coming in. All looked to be a result of wind loading or sluffs from above. Most looked to start bellow cliffs
