Camped out a few nights in Tombstone (16th-19th). Challenging sled in if you double or divert off the main path, which eventually disappears as you get closer to Divide Lake. Snowpack is faceted to ground, with a few inches thick of melt-freeze crust on the very top. Weather was clear, warm, sunny, and had light winds from the W-SW. Highs reaching +2 by 1pm. Decent skiing around Mt. Frank-Rae, where by the afternoon conditions of a hard melt-freeze crust turned to corn. HS ~130cm. Some noticeable settlement heard on the up-track. Steeper SE facing terrain showed evidence of wet slab avy up to size 2. The overflow at the beginning of the sled in is no joke. Early travel before sunrise is recommended. Things are melting fast!
