Weather

Valley clouds dissipated above Redstone and eventually gave way to FEW clouds and abundant sunshine. Light south wind and temperatures were in the teens initially climbing to the twenties

Snowpack

Snowpack is stronger than last visit. Surface hoar and large grained stellars on the surface and present on solar aspects above a crust. The 1/6-1/7 storm was largely and surprisingly still DF's with some FCsf intermixed. A thin layer of buried SH down 9" or so is getting squashed and is only a 2-3mm layer and barely discernible. It did not produce propagating results in long column tests. Christmas slab is hanging in there with propagation observed in an ECT at the Christmas / Thanksgiving interface. See profile
