Weather
A little breezy and cold but nothing remarkable. A few clouds were building throughout the day ahead of the next storm.
Snowpack
Below treeline the snowpack is very thin and weak. Average depth ranges from 12-18". Near treeline the winds have moved the snow around a bit and leeward features had a deeper snowpack. Even in wind-drifted areas though, the snowpack was weak from top to bottom. Slab formation has been slow to develop or completely non-existent. This weak snowpack does not bode well for future storms. If we get a heavy load of snow or thick slabs built by wind-transport, slopes will become dangerous very quickly.
Avalanche
One very small avalanche below the ridge on Graveline path. Looks to be a few days old
