Snowpack
Travelled On east and west aspects all elevations. We avoided slopes over 30 degrees on N through E in the alpine and travelled on slopes up to around 35 on west. Snowpack ranged from bare ground to 80cm but did not find any over a meter on any aspect. Boot penetration was typically 30cm or less and ski penetration was generally pretty supported. Pits nE 12,100’ HS 80cm with 5-8 cm depth Hoar present with a solid right side up 1f to f pack above. One layer of facets mid pack that was unreactive. CT18Q1 on depth Hoar and PST45/100end at 5cm
