Strong southwest winds and snowing S1 to S2 for the entire trip. Temperature slowly dropped throughout the morning and were single digits by the time I returned to the truck.

Snowpack

Blowing and drifting snow limited quality profile observations. Extended column tests produced no propagating failures on east-facing slopes near treeline. Slope testing on inconsequential terrain produced no propagating cracks on northeast and east facing slopes with obvious wind-loading and small cornice formation.
