Weather
Mostly sunny, west/northwest winds steady with stronger gusts, transporting snow. Descended an East aspect near treeline.
Snowpack
3-4 inches of fresh snow from the previous storm with deeper pockets where the wind has transported the snow. Travelled east and North aspects near and below treeline. Wind Scoured and affected snow above treeline on windward aspects. Active loading on leeward aspects near and above treeline.
Avalanche
Small wind slab avalanche on East aspect near treeline. Crown varied from about 18" in the center to 6" or so on the edges. Approx 100 feet wide and ran maybe 100-200 vertical feet. No other avalanche activity observed.
