Weather

Warm, breezy. Facets bouncing around, changing snow textures, but only light loading.

Snowpack

Snowpack maturing, generally supportive on skis. No collapsing or cracking, but still concerning snowpack tests. Dug in an east facing slope below treeline that had been previously scoured and recently drifted. ECTP17 down ~35cm on a later of still sharp facets. The slab on top of this was continuous through the terrain, though variable in depth and strength.

Avalanche

Recent large avalanches and vegetative evidence of four historic avalanches from last March.
