Emerald Lake slide path

Field trip to Emerald Lake slide path, skied to 2300m, obs many wumphs on the up track with some cracking directly around skis. Snow pack was mostly supportive to skis but would punch through in thinner areas. Avoided any areas with wind effect as we suspected any surface slab would be easy to trigger. Obs 3 natural avalanches ranging in size 1.5 - 2.5 (20-30 hours old) initiation on the Dec facet interface (see attached profile)
