We climb "French Connection" on Storm Mountain. Did the approach on skis from Vista lake trailhead. Snowpack felt surprisingly good, except North slopes expose to the wind where we could find thick and supportive wind slab 20cm. but in the trees same aspect the slab was not present. On the final approach to the climb 35 angle slope NE facing, 20 to 30cm of snow, no wind slab. We had spin drift between 1100am and 1230pm. No sign of avalanche.
