Snowpack

In areas where I travel, the snowpack becomes stubborn to trigger. ECT on N aspect NP was ECTX with the old weak layers at about 1m deep and 4F hard. In areas near bushes, small trees, or where the slab becomes thinner, i.e., where initiation is more likely, I found sharp changes in slab thickness over a very short distance, and WL cracks seem to arrest within less than 1 m from my skies. See snowpit for more details.
