Winds ~15 out of the west. 20-40F in the valley; 20F at the summit. Partly cloudy.

Snowpack

Funky. South aspect between 12k and 14k. Variable wind crust up to a couple inches thick as the top layer. Around 6" of rounding, high density moist snow beneath the wind crust. This rested atop somewhat lower density, still moist older snow variable in depth up to a foot. Made for a marginally supportable snowpack. Punchy bootpacking. Grabby turns. No wind slab encountered.
