Clear, Calm winds below 12,000'. Temp: -5f to 20f. Wind transport evident on ridgelines.
Snowpack
Good coverage. Approx. 100-150cm above 10,000'. Wind scoured on prominent West facing slopes and rocky Northwest facing ridges and slopes. Winter-like of East Facing slopes. With snow depth in excess of 150cm. As per usual with the Gore the snowpack is a complex mix of Facets, Crust and awesome powder.
Avalanche
Some very deep but relatively small avalanches in gullies of the Southwest Face of Grand Traverse Peak (13,041') (above ice climb).
