Sunny with a few high cirrus clouds. Calm wind at all elevation bands. Air temp -6c at 1000.
Snowpack
The snowpack on the shaded side of the compass is hanging in at about 50 to 65 cm HS. The October snow is still discernible, and is about 20 to 30 cm of large, well-developed facets. The snowpack above this layer is mostly faceted with some windboard layers still evident from late October and November northerly winds. The windboards are becoming quite thin and are very friable, as facet assimilation is almost complete. Given another week or so, these layers may no longer be detectable. There were no notable snow pit tests results, as this snowpack is pretty much all weak layer, and no slab.
