Snowpack

The big story of our snowpack is of course the Nov. 4t/5th rain crust. Generally it's about 30-40 cm down from SS and is certainly robust, and supports skier weight well (and sleds). The slab above is F+ (+ and /). Below we've got a combo of small DF and facets. In addition, but of lesser note, our first snowfall of the year (10/24) is capped with 6mm V. Tests resulted in repeated ECTV's failing on the facets below the rain crust, taking the crust with the slab ECTN13-15 for the V layer at the bottom
