We were in a drainage and came across a previously triggered slab avalanche that had been triggered by a sled earlier in the day. Tracks I dictated that a snow machine had climbed the side of the drainage and likely broke the slab without even knowing. Although the amount of snow that had slid was size 1, it had potential to propagate more, cause a larger amount of snow to come down, and end up in the drainage (big terrain trap)
