We had hoped that the north face would have been protected from the recent winds. We were wrong. Some pockets of wind loaded snow but over all significantly wind affected. Places where there was snow we heard whumpfing and had small pockets of windloaded snow releasing on bulletproof ice layer. Suspect this layer will be problematic when it gets buried.
