FEW-SCT ALL DAY. NO SNOW. TEMPS IN NEGATIVE SINGLE DIGITS CELSIUS. NOT VERY MUCH BLOWING SNOW AT RIDGE LINES, BUT THE SNOW WAS BLOWING A BIT MORE BELOW TREELINE. WINDS WERE L-M FROM THE SW WITH GUSTS TO H

Snowpack

snowpack was very variable below treelike. I had limited slab structure btl on a north aspect near and around foliage. the HS was around 70-90 cm. on a west aspect in willows the snowpack was more shallow about 40-75 cm, and very variable, some places the slab supported my weight while others I broke into facets below (with skis on). LOTS OF STRONG OVER WEAK LAYERING
