Several Sr and Sc up to size 1.5 on the late Jan SH up to size 1.5 between 1600-2000m. Crown depths average 50cm. Some crowns observed on steep low alpine south and east features with similar depth. In the alpine there is little to no wind effect up to 2600m and new snow is running fast and loose especially where a crust is present below. Very little wind in the alpine. No blowing snow observed. Didn’t get warmer than -15 deg. 330cm on the glacier.

While skinning up an open slope below treeline we remoted multiple sz1 up to 1.5 on surface hoar On our way down a few mor sz 1 Sc in predictable terrain features.
