After a decent Phantom Couloir experience, turned to Aemmers. Whoops. At Annette Lake to the shoulder evidence of sustained warm wind: gravel transport, stripping of snow, ugly refreeze, frozen pooling on top of the lake. Top 2/3s Aemmers was good. Bottom 1/3 scalloped refreeze except for the strip of slough I knocked down (and skied). Very bottom were exposed rock bands that kept the skiing above very deliberate. Likely bad news for future snowpack
