Evelyn

Today we Skied at Evelyn backcountry ski area. Strong ridge top winds from the south west were redistributing the new snow and forming wind slab at tree line and above. We found great skiing in sheltered areas with up to 30 cm of ski penetration. With the recents strong winds and new snow we expect cornice growth to continue. We are watching out for overhead hazard and avoiding pockets of new wind slab.
