The alpine and open areas seemed to have been hammered by the wind, even in the north aspect. Best snow was north aspect but in the trees. Skied off both shoulders of baldy and had nice conditions. Things are still filling in but stable and just enough crust below the powder to buffer one From rocks and debris. I’ll be posting a brief trip report on www.backcountryskifriends.com
