Hankin Night Ski

Very still, perfect stargazing night ski, a noted surface hoar is forming on top of the fast dry snow that fell on Wednesday (20cm). Could hear a wind blowing in the alpine, but perfectly still at treeline. Wind and storm had erased much evidence of the previous natural cycle in alpine areas as observed on the weekend. Great skiing!

Just wanted to give a shoutout about an obvious surface hoar that is starting to for with the clear skies and cold weather we had. Approximately 20cm of fresh snow fell during our Wednesday storm, and surface hoar is forming on top of that!
