Illecillewaet glacier

Attempted to do young’s traverse, but turned back on the glacier around 2000m. Snow got better around 2000m, but below that conditions were ok/terrible — variable above tree line up to where we turned back, and then slushy/slick in the trees on the ski out. No signs of instability/ nothing observed that was recent.
