Sledded in to then tour up to check on snow levels and conditions - at 1935m found HS of 85cm on a NE aspect with the same layers and snowpack characteristics as has been found in the jasper area over the past week and as avalanche bulletins have stated. Strong SW winds today with snow for majority of day at about S2. Skied some mellow slopes as coverage allowed but overall either potential areas higher up or other areas would be recommended for now. Sled access is adequate from 800m elev and quickly turns into great travel conditions on the FSR. Wind slab was developing throughout day at 1800m and above.
