More snow than expected and poor visibility caused us to alter our plans. We avoided overhead hazard and stuck to mellow slopes below treeline. Trail breaking was deep with 40cm of soft snow. The winds were picking up in the afternoon. With all the snow available for transport we will be avoiding lee terrain where the snow feels wind affected.
