Went for a cruise up the asulkan glacier today. The traditional route next to the cleaver was quite wind loaded. Probing mostly 150-260 on the initial climb. A few sags and some exposed ice but once a top the glacier a consistent HS 150cm. HN of 10cm on the ice from the past day. Underneath lies polished and bulletproof wind effect. Best skiing was definitely just below the glacier where the past weeks HST has been minimally wind effected. Included photo of 7 steps for reference.
