SNOWPACK/AVALANCHE OBS: Skied from the Slate TH up Gunsight road to Wolverine Basin. 4-6cm crust sun crust in slate valley bottom on south facing and flat terrain. Areas that were north facing or otherwise sheltered from the sun had dry snow, elsewhere snow was either crusty or wet from today’s sun. Dug a pit on due north facing slope at 10,000’. Mid-pack consisted primarily of 1F-P hard rounds, lying on top of 70cm of DH ranging from F hard at the ground to 4F at the top of the layer. CTM failures were observed on the top of the DH interface.
