Snowpack
Twenty inches of new snow.
Avalanche
Skier triggered. Twenty inch crown (estimated). Width, a couple of hundred feet. Slide flowed down to the gully, two hundred to two hundred fifty vertical feet. Loose, new snow only. Slope angle at top of slide measured at 39º. By far the largest slide I've ever seen in these woods.
