Weather

Light breeze w a few bursts of stronger gusts. Thin clouds obscured peaks by mid afternoon. Temps dropped about same time, though felt chilly all day.

Snowpack

Ski pen 5-20 cm. NSF on northerly slopes; moist powder on sunny aspect nr/ blw tl that crusted quickly when sun gone. < 5 cm wet snow on supportable crust low elevations.

Avalanche

Some short but deep crowns visible from recent Wind Slabs. Near ridgelines, easterly aspects or easterly sides of gullies. Old, deep crown visible just north of summit, near crest of ridge running to true Hayden. Likely DPS from mid-February cycle.
