Weather

Warm temps, clear sky's, and light winds.

Snowpack

Obvious signs of recent wind-loading. Drifts were below ridgeline, in cross loaded terrain features and behind isolated terrain. Estimating that drifts were between 2-4 feet deep. Cornices developed below ridgelines on E and S aspects. The surface snow settled today during the warm temps. Surface hoar was observed mostly below treeline in areas that aren't affected by sun or wind.

Avalanche

Small and Large Loose Dry avalanches observed. A few of the slides stepped down triggering a Wind Slab avalanche.
