Weather

Beautiful crystal clear morning with crisp temperatures - a stark contract to the previous day's warmth and soupy humidity. Winds were calm at hwy level. Above TL became W/light to moderate later.

Snowpack

On this end of the hwy gained 5-6 inches of new snow. There was a weak interface in the middle of the new snow that sheared off easily. This is worth watching to see if it persists with the next storm...my guess is it will heal with warming temps. At hwy level, new snow was well bonded to the old crusts where I checked (E, S, N aspects). This could change if the interface becomes moist.

Avalanche

No new avalanche activity seen. Expect small sluff activity with warming temps and sunshine.
