Weather

1" new snow on road in AM. Hard to say how much recent snow because very wind-affected up high. Maybe 12 cm/ 5"? Wind

Snowpack

Pit in N-facing trees on shoulder of E Ridge. HS 190 cm. ECTN 16 12 cm below surface at interface btwn old and recent snow. ECTX below that, even w very non standard force (ie jumping on column). No signs of instability.

Sluff on v. steep slope BTL. No natural slides visible.
