Snowpack
The upslope dropped only a few inches in this area, and it fell without significant wind. Instabilities were found between the new and old snow though the failures were very shallow and not propagating much. We produced several major collapses though most of those were in willowed areas. The main concern remains the widespread weak snowpack structure especially on N-E-S especially around treeline. Treat slopes of 30dgr and steeper with lots of respect.
