Weather
Steady Moderate winds, punctuated by Strong gusts. The sun remained obscured all morning by transported snow. Temps BTL were cold but manageable without the wind, conditions were brutal ATL, with gusts capable of throwing you off balance.
Snowpack
The depth of the snowpack varied dramatically from Scoured to 175cm. It was composed of the expected facets covered by wind deposited snow capped by a stiff (Pencil+) slab anywhere from 1cm-30cm thick. Wind layers were forming at all elevations, with only the most sheltered due East aspects holding soft deposits. The skiing was terrible.
