Snowpack

Spx in this area has been previously highly wind effected. Many areas and exposed ridges are bare. Pillow on lee slopes were plump but still wind scoured surface or wind etched. Moist snow surface to 12,800' on E aspects. Near and below tree line the surface became progressively moist by 2 pm. Sun crusts will become more of an issue and will grow into the weekend. Snowpack is stiff.
