Complete whiteout, sometimes could see vague rocky features in the distance.

Snowpack

There was some cracking and collapsing underfoot at treeline, but no shooting cracks. With my ski pole, I could feel some soft wind slabs from the recent storm snow, but the layer that was really collapsing was deeper I believe. Deeper down, I felt a few inch thick dense slab sitting above a rather deep layer of facets that was very easy to push my ski pole through and seemed mostly made of air. On the windblown ridges above treeline, the snow was pretty well-compacted windslab.
