Beautiful fall day. Warm with ample sunshine.

Snowpack

Snowpack height ranged from 0-~60 cm's. Sunny and most below treeline slopes remain bare. The new snow from 11/7/17 continues to settle and facet on shady slopes. The deepest pockets of snow were observed in the high alpine on northerly slopes. A 2-5 cm 1 finger crust exists between the October snow and the snow from earlier in the week. The crust is anywhere from 5-20 cm's above the ground and sitting on fist hard facets.
