After remotely triggering the slide, my partner and I felt we could safely enter the path and get details on the slide. Probing revealed a depth of 257 cm in the deepest part of the depostion zone. The probe also showed that snow just to the side was 50 cm in depth. So the deepest pile up in the slide was 207 cm, give or take a couple. The bed surface was facets siting on a crust that sat on another 12 inches (variable) of basal facets. The facets that the slide ran on were probably due to a high temp gradient concentrated at the crust. There were sections with grass poking out and the crust was somewhat thin, which blurred the line between radiation recrystallization facets and basal facets. It broke to with 12 inches of the ground and everything below it was facets besides a thin crust. The maximum depth was approximately 36" and avg depth ranged from 18-36".
